چکیده
The purpose of the project is to develop methods and a biomechanical model for virtual testing of fit and interaction of virtual components directly from a Computer Aided Design (CAD) system, specifically for the hearing aid industry. We propose to develop an adaptable biomechanical model and fast methods for physical simulation including contact forces for insertion of the virtual components. This will decrease the time-to-market and improve hearing aid quality. The technology developed will be transferrable to other applications e.g. surgical simulation and medical devices.
